Following his triumph at The Open Championship last weekend, world No. 2 golfer Cameron Smith seems to be preparing for a change of scenery.
Smith is allegedly closing in on a contract to join LIV Golf, which would make him the newest celebrity to leave the PGA Tour for the Saudi Arabia-backed league.
Greg Norman, the commissioner of LIV Golf, also praised Smith on Twitter, which stoked rumors that he will soon begin competing for LIV.
Smith would join a large list of well-known players who would switch to LIV Golf if the deal were to be finalized,
including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Bryson DeChambeau.
