The Houston Astros beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3–2 in Game 5 of the World Series at Citizen Bank Park in Philadelphia Thursday night, putting them one win away from their second title. A video shared by Twitter user @VanceLawrence shows a crowd in Houston watching the game on TV Thursday night, and erupting into cheers when the Astros won. Astros pitcher Justin Verlander finally notched his first World Series win in Game 5, in the ninth World Series start of his career. The Astros now lead the best-of-seven series 3–2, with Game 6 set for Saturday night at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
