Bengals fans in Ohio chanted Tua Tagovailoas name as the Miami Dolphins quarterback was carried off the field on a stretcher after an apparent head injury Thursday. A video shared by Robbie Cochran shows fans at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati chanting “Tua” as he is carried off the field. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Dolphins 27–15. Tagovailoa was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for evaluation. Per reports, he suffered a concussion. He was released and flew home with the team Thursday night. The injury comes less than a week after an apparent head injury in a game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. After stumbling on the field, Tagovailoa was checked for concussion and cleared to return to play. The NFL Players Association tweeted Thursday night that it is investigating a potential violation of concussion protocols.
