AfAfter a thrilling race that lasted right up until the end, Charles Leclerc was relieved to win the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday.
It was an extraordinary race from Leclerc as he fended off the attack from Max Verstappen of Red Bull, his title challenger.
Following a resounding showing of dominance from Leclerc and Ferrari, who put on a scary pace in Spielberg, the Dutchman came in second.
Ferrari had a chance to finish first and second, but their expectations were destroyed when Carlos Sainz was forced to withdraw when his engine caught on fire.
This was Charles Leclerc’s third victory of the season.
