Sebastian Vettel, a four-time world champion, told the Aston Martin management of his decision to retire from racing in F1 this week. Making the announcement via a video broadcast on Instagram. The German said that lately, worrying about his future has been a diversion, and now that he’s decided to stop, he can tackle the season’s remaining races with more confidence. According to Vettel while Aston Martin doesn’t currently have a competitive car, he emphasized that he likes the team highly and thinks it can improve. The aim has always been to win and compete at the front, he said. I think I’ve been very privileged to have had so many great cars and teams in the past that I was able to achieve so many things.
